Cropston Reservoir

This 19th Century Reservoir takes its name from the very picturesque village of Cropston.

(The elaborate Victorian engineering undertaken to provide Leicester with piped water can be viewed at the Severn Trent Visitor Centre. An alternative southern entry to Charnwood Forest, and the area is popular with walkers.)
